Once the cork screw has started into the cork, I use one finger in the large hole to spin the cork out. This cork puller is way cool and works very fast and efficiently. Love having the foil cutter and bottle opener wings on the sides.

I used several corkscrews in the past but this one is a wonderful surprise to me. It looks deceptively thin and cheap but in reality, it is anything but that. It is very easy and effortless to use. There is no sign that the screw is strained when it pulls the cork out. As an engineer, I see no reason why the manufacturer has to make it any heavier than it is.



I got it as a gift and cannot complain about the price. Yes, it may be a bit expensive but I think it is worthwhile. I am very happy about it and will recommend it.

Some people call it cheap and flimsy. But I call it thin and delicate. and that's how it should be when you're opening a wine bottle. It is extremely easy to pop out the cork with this corkscrew. It also works with synthetic corks. No extra strength required at all. Believe me you'll be amazed after using this product. It comes with a nice container, which is a bonus.

This corkscrew is poorly made, consisting of low-grade stampings and flimsy plastic molded parts assembled with tinned rivets. It feels like it's going to come apart in your hand, and it requires considerable care to use it safely and effectively. It's outrageously overpriced, too. An unfortunate product offering from the company that brought us the legendary original Screwpull, perhaps the handiest corkscrew ever.



I did manage to pull a cork with it, though - which is why it gets even two stars.

The first time I saw one of these used, I was amazed both at how breakable it looked and how you could open a wine bottle so quickly and easily. Only the colored part and twist handle are plastic, the screw part is metal. Don't be put off by looks (now I think it looks great!), go by what it can do. I can literally pull the cork with one finger using this 3-in-one corkscrew. Best one I've ever come across.

For under a buck, this was one of the best deals I have found on Amazon. The least expensive foil cutter was way more than this. At the full retail, it would be one of the worst deals. So keep the cutter and throw out the stand.


Well, it's definitely not a $20 item, but it works and for its price, I think it's good value. The foil cutter is pretty easy to use and the foil comes off nicely. The stand gives your corkscrew a place to stand. It's plastic, but seem to be of good quality.


The description of this item (as of today) is wrong. There is NO CORKSCREW.

The photo is right, you get ONLY a plastic stand and a cheaply made foil cutter.

Perhaps you already own an Arco 1757 corkscrew, and somehow lost the stand. This is for you.

Or maybe you want to transport your corkscrew between your 7 homes and want to have a place to park your corkscrew at each of them (buy 6).

This is NOT a retail of $35, and not what most people need.

I've went through numerous foil cutters over the years, and there is no question...this is easily the best foil cutter I've used. I highly recommend it to any one. Clearly worth the money if you're tired of all the other annoying cutters that are out there.


This product is not worth the money. The second time I used the opener one of the wheels fell off. I put it back on and it keeps coming off. To pay for the shipping to replace it, assuming the manufacturer would replace it, would cost more than its worth!


I have had this product for probably 10 years. One of the little cutter wheels keeps falling off, so its time for a new one (thus the reason I'm out here looking for one). However its been heavily used (probably 5 times per week for 10 years), so I think I got my money's worth from it!


this is a fantastic item for anyones kitchen .. weather you are a social or daily drinker .. it is so much easier than pulling out a steak knife and trying not to slice your hand while cutting the foil .. this is so simple just sit it on top of the bottle, slightly squeeze turn around the bottle once, and presto your foil just falls off no fuss and no mess .. i loved it so much i bought two more for gifts .. these foil cutters go for as much as $20.00 plus in gourmet magazines ..


Prior to picking up the Screwpull cutter, I always used a serrated-edge foil cutter in a lever-type corkscrew. Those work well, but aren't very fast and you can cut yourself, either on the blade or the foil. The cutting wheels in the Screwpull cutter work quickly and well on all but the heaviest foils (hence the 4 stars). Squeeze firmly, twirl, and lift - off comes a perfect little foil cap.

This is my second such item. The first lasted many years ( about 5 I think). I really like it.


I guess there's not a whole lot one can write about a foil cutter, but I did want to say that of the several I've used over the years, this is the best. It's lightweight, comfortable to use, cuts foil with great ease, and well designed. (The last foil cutter I used would pinch my finger occasionally.) It's more expensive than it ought to be, but I do expect it to last a long, long time.


I actually bought this one while I was in Paris. Somewhat skeptical but bought it anyway. Works like a charm! If you've ever been annoyed by the foil on top of the wine bottle, then get this one. You won't regret it.


I thought this was a silly product...how hard is it to cut foil? But when we got our firsr Screwpull, the foil cutter came with it...and wow! You do need one! A quick twist of the wrist, the foil is off. So when our son had gotten a screwpull that didn't have a foil cutter with it, he put this on his Wish List.

While the foil cutter is great, the screwpull bottle opener is even better. Works better than any other corkscrew I've ever used, including some that are much more expensive. Opening a bottle of wine is easy now!
